Pathways to Systemic Change

The growing global movement of social innovation, which can simply be described as “new ideas that solve social problems” is evolving at an unforeseen pace and we are witnessing an increase in both volume of social innovations as well as types of approach. This book has been inspired by a desire to deepen our understanding of social innovation and its role in addressing today’s most pressing social, economic and environmental challenges.

Too many people are unsatisfied with their lives, not doing what they love, un-empowered to fulfill their potential and un-inspired to change the system. So.. where are you?

Water, Rivers and People

An international photographic exhibition on water conflicts from around the world. The exhibition captures the human stories of 26 different water related conflicts from around the world, covering dams and forced evacuations, environmental degradation, human rights, catastrofes, privatization and victories and solutions.

We developed a teaching resource pack to accompany the exhibition which can be downloaded for free here.

Ethica · ethical finance game

An educational role play game to explore the social and environmental impact of banking, investments and business and help individuals make more responsible and ethical decisions when managing their own money. Suitable for young people and adults aged 15 upwards and groups of 6 to 27 players.

We offer training programmes for educators, activists, change agents, facilitators and professionals on how to facilitate Ethica and stimulate debate about finance.

AVALON · sustainability school

An integral learning experience in an international environment for young people aged 13 to 19, combining art, adventure and skills for a resilient future.

Next years camps will be held in Spring and Summer in a beautiful protected wilderness area in the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees.

Research into cutting edge social innovations from around the world.

We are currently working in partnership with the Institute of Social Innovation at ESADE to deepen understanding of the latest trends in social innovation from around the world, the findings will be published later this year in the next edition of Social Antenna of Innovation.

Green Entrepreneurship

Research on green entrepreneurship in the Mediterranean.
We collected 20 case studies from entrepreneurs across the region, and designed a strategy to stimulate green employment through start-ups, up and coming entrepreneurs and well established professionals.

Trading trainers · workshop

A dynamic workshop for high school students in the Institut Emperador Carles on fair trade.

We offer workshops to high schools and youth groups on fair trade, ethical finance, responsible consumption and other related issues.

Water · micro-training

A micro-training course for educators on how to foster a sustainable consumption of water both at home, work and play.

We run workshops for educators, trainers and activists on water education, how to foster a culture of respect and resilience for this precious resource.

Responsible consumption training

A workshop in Montenegro for professionals from a wide variety of civil society organisations on how to integrate pedagogies for responsible consumption into their activities.

We deliver workshops on a range of subjects from sustainable consumption to conflict resolution and ethical finance.

The fair is on all day and the EASY GREEN group will be there doing workshops, talks and many more things. We leave at 16h from the stall and the walk will be about 2 hours, it is all in English. It will finish in Placa Catalunya at the #acampadaBCN, which is where the #Spanishrevolution has been happening for the last 2 weeks.
